Library, Museum, & Masonic History

The Library and Museum of the Grand Lodge contain more than 5,000 books and more than 350 linear feet of archival material detailing the history of Freemasonry in North Carolina and the world. The collections include topics concerning philosophy, Masonic law, ritual, and history, as well as personal papers, photographs, and lodge histories.

Some of these materials, such as annual proceedings (minutes), lodge histories, and photographs, and historic artifacts, can be viewed online through our partnership with the Digital Heritage Center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Internet Archive.
